With make-up artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath wielding her baton, it really came as no surprise as to why the Anna Sui Spring/Summer 2015 collection had one of the most covetable beauty looks of the season.
All attention was focused on the eyes with McGrath applying loose glitter to three points of the eye -the inner corners along with the top and bottom lash line. Skin and lips were left artfully bare and brows were kept strong and well-groomed.
”It’s kind of cosmic beauty, very rock-and-roll” is what McGrath described the look as and we think she sums it up perfectly. We’re totally in love with the minimalist meets intergalactic make-up that perfectly complemented Sui’s vibrant, psychedelic collection.
To replicate this look off the runway, we suggest lining eyes in gold iridescent liner or gently dotting the inner corners of the eye with gold shadow. Not too keen on forsaking the concealer? No problem, cover up any imperfections with skin-tone matching concealer and opt for taupe or nude lipstick to retain a fresh-faced, natural effect.
